The basics before you reach out — what we do, who we work with, and how an engagement typically starts.
Managed cloud infrastructure, 24/7 IT support, cybersecurity and compliance, custom software development, data and AI consulting, and IT strategy consulting. Most clients start with one service and add others as needs come up.
Send us a message through the contact form or email info@bergbauertechnology.com. A senior engineer reviews it personally and replies within one business day — no sales call required just to ask a question.
We focus on small and mid-sized businesses that need senior-level IT expertise but don't have the budget or workload for a full in-house department.
We're not locked into one vertical. Most of our work is with professional services, retail, healthcare-adjacent, and logistics companies, but the underlying problems — unreliable IT, unclear cloud costs, thin security — show up everywhere.
Yes. The first conversation is about understanding your situation, not a sales pitch. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you that directly.
Flat-rate managed plans and fixed-scope projects, quoted before work begins.
It depends on your device count, user count, and which services you need. We'll give you a specific flat monthly rate after a short assessment — see our pricing page for a starting sense of our plans.
Our managed plans are month-to-month. We'd rather earn your business every month than lock you into a contract you can't leave.
A written scope of exactly what we'll deliver, the timeline, and the total price before any work starts. If something outside that scope comes up, we'll flag it and requote — not bill you and explain later.
No. Managed plans are flat-rate per device or user. Anything outside that scope — a new project, emergency after-hours work — is quoted separately before we start.
Projects are quoted as a fixed price for defined deliverables. Ongoing support is a flat monthly fee. You'll never see a surprise hourly invoice from us.
How we handle access to your systems and information during an engagement.
We access only what's needed to deliver the service you've engaged us for, and we don't use your data for anything beyond that engagement. See our privacy policy for the full details.
For managed IT and security engagements, yes — that's the job. Access is scoped to what's necessary, documented, and can be reviewed or revoked by you at any time.
Yes. Email us at the end of an engagement and we'll remove stored credentials, access, and copies of your data, keeping only what we're required to retain for our own business records.
No. We don't sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Wherever your own systems already live — we work inside your existing cloud environment rather than copying data into a separate platform of ours, unless a project specifically calls for it.
What to expect from us as the people with access to your systems.
Multi-factor authentication on every account with access to client systems, least-privilege access controls, and logged, auditable activity for anything we touch.
Yes, as a standard part of onboarding, before we're given any access to your systems or data.
We help you get the technical controls and documentation in place for frameworks like SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI DSS. We're not a certifying body ourselves, but we'll get you audit-ready.
For managed clients, we have a documented incident response process and are typically the first call. We contain the issue, communicate clearly about what happened, and help with remediation and reporting.
Yes, for managed clients. Systems are monitored around the clock, with our standard SLA of a senior engineer beginning triage within fifteen minutes of a critical alert.
